Moon Murmur Dream Workshop with Daniel Godínez Nivón
On Sunday 7 September, while the full moon will be undergoing a total lunar eclipse we will gather outdoors at Buurtwerkplaats Noorderhof. We will be guided by Daniel Godínez Nivón into a collective dreaming exercise while honoring the water and natural cycles of time. Daniel will initiate the beginning of the harvest season and connect us to the land and to our own inner worlds through different exercises. We will connect the plants on the terrein through non-linear methods of obtaining knowledge via dreams.
This workshop is part of the 4Siblings artistic programming DECOMPOSITIONS and is kindly supported by AFK. It is open to everyone and free of charge but please sign up on the sheet BELOW on the calendar page by writing your name. Children and families are very welcome.
Daniel Godinez Nivón (1985, Mexico) is an artist, educator, and independent researcher whose artistic practice intertwines social participation, education, and collective knowledge. He employs various methodologies, particularly tequio, a form of collective work rooted in indigenous Mexican communities, mainly in Oaxaca. Currently, his work focuses on the connection between dreaming and nature, exploring how our dreams and those of other beings can inform our understanding of environmental issues and foster collective imagination.
